This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on aaarcana.com, why, and how you control them. Non-essential cookies are placed only after you say yes, and you can change your mind at any time.
1. Who is responsible
The website aaarcana.com is operated by Yelyzaveta Ivanova, a natural person based in the Czech Republic, under the brand name aaarcana ("aaarcana", "we", "us"). aaarcana is a brand name, not a registered company.
Yelyzaveta Ivanova is the controller of personal data collected through cookies on this website. Contact for all cookie and privacy matters: hello@aaarcana.com. We treat this inbox as our official channel for notices and data-protection requests.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies — pixels, local storage, SDKs — work the same way, and this policy covers them too. Cookies set by us are first-party cookies. Cookies set by another company, such as Google or Meta, are third-party cookies.
Some cookies expire when you close your browser (session cookies). Others stay until they expire or you delete them (persistent cookies).
3. Legal basis
We follow §89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on Electronic Communications, the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) and the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
- Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent because the website cannot work without them. Any related processing of personal data relies on our legitimate interest in running a secure, functioning site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- All other cookies are placed only with your prior consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Until you consent, they stay off.
4. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — Remember your cookie choices and keep the site secure. Always on.
- Analytics — Tell us how visitors use the site (pages viewed, time on page, traffic source) so we can improve it. Off until you consent.
- Marketing — Measure the performance of our ads on Google, Meta and TikTok and show relevant ads to people who visited our site. Off until you consent.
We do not use cookies to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

6. Third parties and international transfers
Google, Meta and TikTok receive data through their cookies and process it under their own privacy policies. Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers rely on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How to manage your choices
- Our cookie banner. On your first visit you can Accept all, Reject all, or choose categories. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
- Change your mind anytime. Use the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer. Withdrawing consent stops future processing and deletes the related cookies; it does not affect processing that happened before.
- Your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
- Provider opt-outs. Google Analytics offers a browser opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). You can also manage ad preferences in your Google, Meta and TikTok account settings.
8. Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a refusal of marketing cookies for that browser. We do not sell your personal information for money.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. To exercise these rights, write to hello@aaarcana.com. We reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
You can also complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.gov.cz, or to the supervisory authority in your EU country of residence.
